I am thrilled to announce that I'll be speaking this Saturday, October 7, 2023, at the Emory Public Interest Committee (EPIC) Conference. This year's conference theme is "Balancing the Scales: Fostering Mental Health Awareness in the Law."

I am especially excited to be co-presenting with my powerhouse Spelman College sister Candice D. McKinley, Esq. on the topic "Wellness in a Demanding Profession." Much more than seasoned legal practitioners and Class of 2002 Spelman Lane sisters, Candice and I are also fierce advocates for mental well-being in the legal profession. In the closing session of the conference, Candice D. McKinley, Esq. and I will share our personal wellness journeys and offer insights into how we've managed to maintain a healthy work-life balance in the demanding field of law.
